Ibby Caputo is a multimedia journalist and a former MIT-Knight Science Journalism Fellow who has covered health care, transportation, and breaking news as a reporter for WGBH radio and TV in Boston. Her journalism, essays and photography have been published in The Washington Post, Boston Globe Magazine, Chicago Tribune, and elsewhere. Caputo's radio work has aired on NPR and the BBC and her audio documentary, “Crying Dry Tears,” was awarded first place in The Missouri Review’s 2016 Miller Audio Contest. She is an adjunct professor at Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, where she received a master’s degree in journalism after graduating from Princeton.
