+Change the school hours: mornings 9:00-9:30 offer a breakfast with ‘meet-greet their tutors’; 9:30-12:00 follow with individual or small group tutoring to help them catch up to the grade level (have them meet their tutor during breakfast n advance to help form a bond); 12:10-12:30 box lunch; 12:45-3:45 classes; 4:00-6:00 Sports and clubs.
+Form partnership with business and industry to sponsor this special program, and train the tutors, recruit teachers for this program.
+Offer awards and incentives (eg, tickets to sports & cultural events or special outings and restaurants) for consistent attendance and improved academics during an assembly (to increase motivation and pride)
